Inspire Health is an integrated, supportive cancer care program that has been around since 1997. A person can receive individual support from their clinical teams of supportive care physicians, counsellors, dieticians and exercise therapists, and they can participate in an extensive selection of workshops, programs and classes. They are a non-profit; there is no referral required, and all services are offered
free of charge.
Their Website says:
"We provide individual and group support in the areas of stress and mental health counselling, managing treatment side-effects, nutrition support, exercise therapy for better recovery, improving sleep and energy, and managing work, life, and relationships."
Most of the Classes are in person; you can book consults on the phone and on video.
They had their first location in Vancouver, then expanded to Victoria and Kelowna.
In the 2-day Life Program, you will learn things such as:
- Stress reduction
- Sleep management
- Self-Care
- Nutrition
- Lymphatic & immune support
- Exercise & movement

Inspire Health is a registered Canadian non-profit organization, who are only partially funded by the BC Ministry of Health. They provide their services and programs for free to those in need, so the rest comes in donations; donate here if you can.
