We were each given our own minds, intuition and life experiences, so we should be able to know what we need and want. So why do we give our power over to other people like politicians, doctors and people in so called authority positions?
What makes a person that is put in this "authority" position able to know what is best for your body, your soul, your country and your planet? When did we stop thinking for ourselves?
Each of us does have an inner knowing of what is best for our own body, how to heal it and how to live the best life possible. Each of us knows what is best for our community, our city, our country and our planet. If each person was in touch with this inner knowing, living from this authentic place and working together what a wonderful world this would become.
Just because a person in an authority position has studied in medical school, law school or has more money than you does not make that person a "God" over you. You are the one who knows you the best. Many people have been told by doctors that they have 6 months to live and have lived many years beyond this 6 months.
Take the example of Steven Hawking....he was diagnosed with ALS at the young age of 21 with a life expectancy of 2-3 years; he is now 73 years old. Whether or not people believe all of his famous theories, he became known for his scientific theories, as well as being married twice and fathering three children. Good thing he thought for himself and did not listen to the doctors who stated what they thought would be his life expectancy!
So let's get more in touch with our body, mind and spirit, by really listening to what it is telling us the next time we have to make a decision, regardless of who is telling us what to do. When we give our power away to others we can often feel it in our throat and heart areas; our body knows what it needs to stay balanced.
So what are some of the reasons that so many women are getting breast cancer and what can we do about it to bring balance?
Some of the causes would be:
Reduce your exposure to radiation...never store your cell phone in your bra!!!!
Take some supplements...Antioxidants, Omega 3 fats, Flax Meal, Tumeric, Grape Seed, Vitamin D and Iodine. Last but not least, find ways to nurture yourself.
Women have never had so much pressure to "get it all done". Not only do they have to look after the family and the house, but now they are expected to work a job, often a full time job. It can feel like you are on a treadmill that never stops. We are expected to keep a nice, clean house, provide nutritious meals, grocery shop on a budget, be a mother to our children, pay our bills and let's not forget to find time to some how always look our best! Does anyone even notice or appreciate all that we do to keep things running? We are compared and we sometimes even compare ourselves to women's pictures that are not only airbrushed but who have the money to go to the spa, hire a personal trainer and a healthy chef. How can we ever measure up? What do WE want out of life? Is anyone listening to what we want? How do we nurture ourselves?
Some simple ways to Nurture Ourselves:
Why are Thousands of People Raising Billions of Dollars to Give to the Cancer Agencies Year After Year........Where is This Money Really Going?
Everyday there are people biking, walking or running to raise money to fight a war on cancer and to find a "cure" for cancer. So the positives of thousands of people running, walking and biking are:
If you look at the ingredients in almost all of the "pink ribbon" products, you will find numerous cancer causing chemicals.
These pink ribbons are promoting healing and preventing cancer; one of the main causes of cancer, especially breast cancer is the chemicals we use in our everyday life. These chemicals get stored in our Lymph System and much of the Lymph System is in your breast tissue area (men can get breast cancer too). If your body cannot get rid of the many chemical toxins we take in on a daily basis, then they will be stored in your Lymph and your fat cells.
Should companies that create products that contain chemical toxins, which are proven in studies to cause cancer, be allowed to place a pink ribbon on their products?
Why is it that after over 20 years and millions of dollars of research, we still treat cancer the same way?
If you think about the billions of dollars that have been raised all over North America to find a "cure" for cancer, why have we not found a "cure" for cancer? Why after over 20 years are we still treating cancer the same way with surgery, chemotherapy and radiation? Why have we not found a better way to "heal cancer" and how well do chemotherapy and radiation actually heal cancer?
With all these billions of dollars donated to find this "cure" for cancer, why are more and more people still getting cancer? Will a cure ever be found in this way, or is this whole thing just a way to make a lot of money for the so called "cancer research"? Where are all these great breakthroughs? Why do we not have better ways of treating cancer, with all the billions spent over 40 years since the "war on cancer" began?
Why not put the billions, or even just a million into cancer prevention?
What are your thoughts on this topic?
I wonder this a lot. If you do not want to get cancer, one of the first things you should do is to stop eating hotdogs, hamburgers and do-nuts! Does anyone else see the craziness in this? Why are we not promoting healthy foods to find a cure for cancer? Are eating healthy foods one of the ways to prevent and cure cancer?
Healthy foods: fruits, vegetables, whole grains, nuts and seeds all contain, phytochemicals, vitamins, minerals, water, fiber and more. Your body needs these items in order to live a healthy life. Why are we not promoting health in finding a cure for cancer?
On another note, there are many cures for cancer that have been used successfully for years. In the wonderful book "Defeat Cancer", 15 doctors who have been helping people heal from cancer for years were interviewed. These doctors state that regular chemotherapy has a success rate of 2% and each doctor has their specific ways of treating cancer, while each patient is treated as an individual. There is no one way to cure cancer and there is no one therapy that works for everyone. Even the doctors that do use chemo, do testing to see which chemo is best for that patient. These doctors are so amazing; they look at so many aspects of the person's health.
So the next time you see someone selling these junk foods to raise money to find a cure for cancer, ask them why.
Have you ever stopped to think about why are we fighting a "war" on cancer?
The term war......is this a positive, healing term, or does the word war bring visions of anger, fighting, killing and destruction? What if we started talking about preventing cancer? What if we started from the source of why we get cancer in the first place and why we have so many people, at younger and younger ages getting cancer? What if we changed how we looked at cancer in the first place?
Didn't someone say "We can't solve a problem by using the same approach? We need to change our perception in order to change the outcome." If we are to heal cancer, as a society, it starts with each person doing what they can do to prevent and heal.
What many people don't realize is there are so many easy things a person can do to prevent disease and wouldn't it make much more sense to prevent it in the first place? Letting go of the anger is a way to healing; the more you concentrate your anger on a specific thing, the more you will attract it to you. It is okay to get angry, just learn to let it go and move on. Holding onto anger and promoting "the war against cancer", will just magnify cancer.
So what if we were to teach people prevention and healing? Listen to the words anger and war, what feelings do these words bring up? Are they good, happy, healing feelings? Now listen to the words prevention and healing, what feelings do these words bring up? Which words make you feel better?
So let's forget about the war on cancer and work on healing and preventing it in the first place.
