My Story
Most children beg for candy in the grocery store, I am told I
begged for cabbage! Later on, as a teenager I read every
health magazine I could get my hands on; I was fascinated
by health and anything to do with it.
I grew up with a mother who gave us vitamins, a grandma who picked dandelion and nettles and who were both very much into eating healthy. As the years of single parenting of my two brothers and I took their toll on my mother, she became sick and we ended up on welfare.
I have never met my dad and have no idea who or where he is. Over the years, I came to realize there is so much more to being healthy than just eating right and taking supplements. You have to heal any emotional trauma and deal with the stress in your life in a positive way.
I know I am here to help people heal, so I knew I had to heal myself, so began my years of working on myself, which is like the layers of an onion and will be ongoing. Experiencing emotional trauma in my childhood, to the point of blocking out my memories, my emotions and feelings, I began to get myself back. Although my mother was frustrated and was not always the best mother, she did the
best she knew how and most of the emotional trauma was not because of my mother but other things that happened beyond our control.
I have a passion to teach people that they do not have to be sick, they do not have to get diseases like cancer and diabetes; they do not have to get sick and sore as they age. I want to tell them that their body, mind and spirit can heal, if they give it what it needs. I look at the whole picture of health and work towards simplifying and making it practical, so that you can use it to better your life.
