Have you ever stopped to think about why are we fighting a "war" on cancer?
The term war......is this a positive, healing term, or does the word war bring visions of anger, fighting, killing and destruction? What if we started talking about preventing cancer? What if we started from the source of why we get cancer in the first place and why we have so many people, at younger and younger ages getting cancer? What if we changed how we looked at cancer in the first place?
Didn't someone say "We can't solve a problem by using the same approach? We need to change our perception in order to change the outcome." If we are to heal cancer, as a society, it starts with each person doing what they can do to prevent and heal.
What many people don't realize is there are so many easy things a person can do to prevent disease and wouldn't it make much more sense to prevent it in the first place? Letting go of the anger is a way to healing; the more you concentrate your anger on a specific thing, the more you will attract it to you. It is okay to get angry, just learn to let it go and move on. Holding onto anger and promoting "the war against cancer", will just magnify cancer.
So what if we were to teach people prevention and healing? Listen to the words anger and war, what feelings do these words bring up? Are they good, happy, healing feelings? Now listen to the words prevention and healing, what feelings do these words bring up? Which words make you feel better?
So let's forget about the war on cancer and work on healing and preventing it in the first place.
